In the summer of 2020 I’ve finally rounded the corner going from liking ceramics to loving ceramics. Nothing like a pandemic which gives an artist a lot of studio time to focus on the craft! I’ve recently had two pieces accepted into some pretty competitive exhibits and I’m very encouraged by that (but I always remind myself, to never underestimate the vagaries of future jurors!) These two exhibits are: “Slice: A Cross Section of Regional Art” at the Pence Gallery (Juried by Hearne Pardee) and a sister piece accepted into the Axis national juried show thematically = caring, nurturing in a time of pandemic. Juried by Marcela Pardo Arica. ,
